Thailand Driving License Renewal Process.
Step 1.
Visit the Department of Land Vehicles (DLT) E Learning website
(https://www.dlt-elearning.com/)
Choose "For Foreigner"
Choose "Login" or "Register"
Make a note of your log-in details.
Step 2.
Log in to the (DLT) E Learning website
(https://www.dlt-elearning.com/) with your new details.
Choose "Apply New Course"
Choose "Private Driving License"
Prepare to watch video training for 1 hour.
Step 3.
Watch all 4 videos, questions will be asked during the videos with a 3 minute timeout.
At the end of the videos you'll get a chance to review the answers and have to answer further questions.
Step 4.
Collect, Download or screenshot the Qr code (assuming you passed), this will be required at the DLT office later.
The list of documents required are itemised onscreen at this stage.
Step 5.
Download the DLT Smart Que app in order to secure a time for processing.

Register and Login.
Choose your time and location to vist the DLT office.
Download the resulting QR code to present at the DLT office.
Step 6.
Ensure to arrive 30 minutes early to the DLT Office, due to the chaotic nature of government offices.
Make it known to a member of staff that you have the QR appointment (they may deal with you right away or direct you to the starting point).
Allow 3 hours for this process.
